Handing your child to a stranger on a screen takes trust, so here is exactly how that trust is earned. Every class at Superior Chess Academy is a live, supervised lesson — a coach is present for the whole session, from the first greeting to the final move, and no child sits in an unsupervised online room. Coaches never exchange private messages with students; everything runs through the parent's WhatsApp, so you see every word. Scheduling is done with you, not with your child. Homework goes to you. Progress notes go to you. And parents are welcome to observe any class, at any time, without asking permission first — watching a lesson is treated as normal, not as a special request. If anything ever feels off, there is one direct channel: message us on WhatsApp at +91 84015 33777, and your concern is reviewed by the academy's management. This page lays out each of these rules in full.
A coach is present for the whole session
Online classes only work when an adult is genuinely in charge of the room. Ours run live, with a coach present from the moment the session starts until it ends. The coach teaches the lesson, runs the puzzles, answers questions, and closes the class — there is no stretch of time where children are left on their own with a screen and an open connection. Lessons are structured around a shared live board, so your child's attention stays where it should be: on the chess. If a child gets stuck, the coach is right there, in real time. That is the whole point of live coaching over recorded video, and it is also the foundation of how we keep classes safe.
Coaches never message your child privately
This one is simple and non-negotiable. No coach at Superior Chess Academy communicates with a student one-on-one in private messages — not on WhatsApp, not on social media, not anywhere. If the coach needs to say something about a class, a piece of homework, or a schedule change, it goes to the parent's WhatsApp. Homework is sent to you. Progress notes are sent to you. Reminders are sent to you. You always know what was said, because you are the one it was said to. Children should never have to manage a private conversation with an adult they met through a screen, and our setup makes sure they never have to. For more on how that parent channel works day to day, see WhatsApp Parent Support.
You can observe any class
You do not need permission, a reason, or advance notice. Parents may sit in on any class and watch how it runs — quietly, from the side, so the lesson is not disrupted. Plenty of parents of younger children do this as a matter of routine, especially in the first few weeks. Others drop in occasionally just to see how things are going. Both are fine. Observation is not treated as suspicion; it is treated as good parenting. If you would like to join as an observer, just mention it on WhatsApp and we will make sure you have what you need. And if you have read this far, you may also want our page on what we never do — the commitments we refuse to make, in writing.
If something concerns you, tell us directly
No concern is too small to raise. If anything about a class, a coach, or a message ever feels wrong, contact the academy directly on WhatsApp at +91 84015 33777 and say what happened. Your concern is reviewed by the academy's management — not filtered through the person you are concerned about. Raising a concern will never affect how your child is treated in class; parents who speak up help keep the academy safe for every student, and we mean that. We would rather hear about something minor and fix it than miss something that matters. That channel is always open, and it is answered by the academy itself, not by an automated system.
Safety questions, answered
Can I sit in and watch my child's chess class?
Yes. Parents are welcome to observe any class at any time, without asking permission first. Observation is a normal part of how Superior Chess Academy works — you sit in quietly while the coach teaches, and you see exactly how the lesson runs.
Will the coach message my child privately?
No. Coaches never exchange private messages with students. All communication — scheduling, homework, progress notes — goes through the parent's WhatsApp, so you always see everything that is said. If a coach needs to reach your child about a class, it goes to you first.
Is a coach present for the whole session?
Yes. Every class is a live, supervised lesson with a coach present from the start of the session to the end. Your child is never left in an unsupervised online room; the coach runs the lesson, answers questions, and closes the session.
Where does all communication with the academy happen?
On the parent's WhatsApp. Class scheduling, homework reminders, progress notes, and any questions about your child's learning all flow through one parent-facing channel: +91 84015 33777. Nothing is arranged privately with the child.
What should I do if something concerns me?
Message the academy directly on WhatsApp at +91 84015 33777 and describe your concern. It is reviewed by the academy's management, and raising a concern will never affect how your child is treated in class. Parents who speak up help keep the academy safe for every student.
Try a class and see for yourself
Safety rules are only as good as the people behind them. The free trial chess class is the easiest way to judge us: sit in, watch the coach teach, and see how your child responds before you commit to anything. Tell us the student's age, country and current level on WhatsApp at +91 84015 33777. You can also read our parent FAQ, try the free puzzle trainer, or look at chess classes for kids to see how lessons are structured.
