Superior Chess Academy is a live online chess coaching academy based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. This page explains, in plain English, what information we collect when you visit this website or contact us, and what we do with it. If anything here is unclear, message us on WhatsApp at +91 84015 33777 and we will explain it.
What information we collect
There are no accounts, logins or payments on this website. We only receive information you choose to share with us:
- When you contact us: if you message us on WhatsApp or email us at superiorchessacademy@gmail.com, you share your name, phone number or email address, and the details you include in your message — usually the student's age, country and current level, so we can suggest a suitable class.
- When you join the puzzle newsletter: if you ask to join our free monthly puzzle newsletter, we keep your WhatsApp number or email address so we can send it to you. You can leave at any time by sending "stop" on WhatsApp or replying "unsubscribe" to any newsletter email.
- When you visit the website: we use Google Analytics, which collects anonymous information about visits — which pages are viewed, how long people stay, and general location. It does not tell us who you are.
Cookies
This website uses cookies from Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, so we can improve it. These cookies do not identify you personally. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the website will still work.
How we use your information
We use the details you share only to reply to you, arrange a free trial class or a newsletter subscription, and run the classes you book. We do not sell your details to anyone, and we do not share them with anyone else for marketing. When you message us on WhatsApp or by email, your message is handled by WhatsApp or your email provider, as with any message you send. Live lessons take place on the ChessLang platform, and that platform's own privacy practices apply when you join a class there.
Children's privacy
Our classes are for children aged 5 and above, as well as teenagers and adults. Contact and bookings always go through a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children under 13 without a parent or guardian. If you are a parent and believe your child has shared information with us directly, message us and we will delete it.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to stop sending the puzzle newsletter, to tell you what details we hold about you, or to delete them. Just message us on WhatsApp at +91 84015 33777 or email superiorchessacademy@gmail.com.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update the "Last updated" date below. The version on this page is always the current one.
